A typical combination is the application of an HVOF ceramic coating onto a metallic substrate. Caused by their heightened brittleness & hardness, actually, at high temperatures, ceramics are in numerous cases unsuitable as structural materials. Moreover, shaping of complex 3D parts from ceramics is challenging & the manufacturing costs are typically higher than for metals.

Hvof Gun for Tungsten Carbide Coating is an ideal process utilized to protect against rust, & corrosion to substrate surface. Thermal spray processes are utilized for a lot of conventional & creative applications & their significance is becoming more elevated and higher. Tungsten Carbide based thermal spray coatings represent one of the most important classes of coatings that find application in a broad range of industrial sectors.

Thermal spray gun

A thermal spray gun is used for the coating process to prevent the surface of the material from rust after surface preparation with the help of a sand blasting machine. In this process melted and semi-melted materials are sprayed onto a surface. Thermal spraying can provide a thick layer of coatings over a large area at a high deposition rate (with high pressure) as compared to other coating processes.

Arc Spray Gun

The arc spray gun is mostly used for coating on the cylinder bores of an engine. Arc spray gun enables the use of an aluminum engine block without having heavy cast iron sleeves. An arc is used to melts the wire that is a supersonic plasma jet. This supersonic plasma jet formed by transferred an arc between a non-consumable cathode and anode the wire which is used for coating.

Zinc Spray Gun

In a zinc metalizing gun to melt the zinc and its alloys, an electric arc is also used. In the arc spray process, an electric arc is generated between the cathode and anode to melt the zinc. Zinc wire or powder feed between cathode and anode so when the arc generates it melts the material easily.
